If I can contest an objective late in the game and keep my own I can win. It so far has worked rather well but at this level I am working for a draw but hoping for a win. It was a shame that I missed the 750pt level, besides that I could have missed spending 3 days in the hospital. We moved up to the 1000pt level which is great as I can start to field a few more units that I need to be able to get things done. We are going to start an Escalation League next month so Ill be painting for that once the new TK book arrives. Oh sure I have about four different armies in all stages of painting but really need a push in one direction to get another army painted. Warhammer Fantasy I am waiting for Tomb Kings. However my new (old) Dark Eldar I am starting to put together and paint. So horrors I have been fielding them primed. I just havent decided how to really paint them yet. I had been running besides my Eldar army, Space Wolves. 40K wise I have picked up an enormous amount of older Dark Eldar. OH I am under no illusion that I will be a GT level painter, I dont think I have the aptitude for it however I will try not to be embarrassed by the figs I field. I have been at this thing for decades and though my painting skills have improved since I started painting my first Grenadier miniatures for AD&D I still have lots to learn. Actually Rush site Warpstone and his awesome painting has pushed this into a more what am i doing.
